8 original pages from a fire houses log book from 1911
The look of the pages is very consistent. Filled with beautiful handwriting All pages are filled. Turning darker with age.Some discoloration on the edges. Perhaps some tiny tears. So unusual to find one of these logbooks.
Shows every event of every day, even when firefighter's went to dinner.
Most pages are written in red and black. Some of the red ink is smeared.
That's why we love these old journals. It is getting harder to find ledgers this old.

This is the second set of papers I’ve purchased; they’re incredibly rare and really interesting. The pages came in a protective sleeve and were shipped in a padded envelope with a bit of cardboard to keep everything flat. I am once again happy with this purchase.
